Locking a unique fight such as Neo Exdeath behind Savage was, in my opinion, a poor move.

It might be an unpopular opinion, but it's my opinion nonetheless.

I would have liked to see a normal mode version of Neo Exdeath. Most people aren't going to do Savage fights and thus will never experience the arena or music firsthand. Only through a youtube video.

I liked what they did with A8S, with an additional phase and a slightly augmented boss model to go along with it. Introducing an entirely new fight with a new boss model etc in the Savage version just goes a little too far.

I don't understand this complaint.

Basically, the content is only "locked" because you are refusing to do the work for it. Hell, give it another two years or whatever, and I'm sure you can go in when you are iLvl600.

It's not a big deal.

I'm not much of an endgame, hardcore type of player, and I honestly don't have a problem with Neo ExDeath being exclusive to savage.

It's there for those who want it. If you want it, play it. You don't have to be hardcore. Get a group of friends and just have fun and see if you can beat it. I don't think it's anything to get angered about.

With all the crying going on about this I fear a normal mode will be added. And that sucks. This is coming from someone who has no plans to even attempt the fight. I'm busy crafting nuggets.

I wonder how OP will react to the info that the "Super Savage" will be locked behind completing all 4 Savage parts and it will be a unique fight...

Part of the reason for this was from Alexander feedback. Since you got all the story from the normal mode, it made Alexander Savage a bit bland after the fact. Especially when there was far less tension and sense of adventure like Coil had, thus there was less of a drive to do it. Sure, high end gear and all, but both players and devs felt the Savage version should offer more than just a means to the end.

I've got no issue with a fight phase being locked behimd Savage either. Or the Super Savage raid.

If I wanted to do it, I'd buckle down and do it. Simple as that.

Otherwise, Youtube and Twitch exist.

You know, as much as I agree that its okay for hard content like Neo Exdeath to exist. I just can't agree to, or get to the same level of understanding when it comes to the supposed "rush" from doing something unique. Like, so many say that this extra fight makes them want to do Savage and experience it because a "secret" bonus fight. But really, everyone and their puppy knows about Neo Exdeath, everyone knows what the transition looks like. And almost everyone who raids will probably watch a guide for him before fighting anyway.. So really what rush is there to be had? At this point it might as well just be in normal mode lol. This is where my mind conflicts.

Upset with Alex because the savage is the same fight that you've already seen. But with Exdeath it's the same. No one is likely going in surprised to see his new form. And probably saw everything already. Thinking of it this way makes it all look alot like a "Haha you can't do the content because it's not Savage" than "I want to experience the rush or the new special fight, whatever"
