I for one don't mind the whole guildleve system. With all the chnages they've made to the game it's a lot more fun. You get XP and gil. By doing them and behests it's easy for one to get to cap in time. What gets to me is there no reward for the grinding.

I mean if I grind to 10 and there's x number of quests for me that makes it worth it. Knowing that once I get to this level I get a good amount of content before I have to grind again. Last time I checked there were only about 189 sidequests in game. That's all there is in a game that's been out for a whole year. I don't want to push SE and have them release bad quests.

I want them to release quests with great stories and CSs like XI. As well as little quests too. Even if they only added 30 quests a month. That's only coming up with 1 quest a day. I don't think that will be hard for a company that's proven themselves master story tellers.

I want this game to become great. I know it can. If SE and us players work together it can be done.

I feel like what XIV needs are NPCs and Nations worth caring for, if the only character worth caring for in a story happens to be a mute, like my Player Character (who, because of his speech impediment, just seem to be so lacking in character and relatability), there is no dialogue worth reading, no story worth knowing...

Give us Shantotto, give us Ajido, Zeid, Excenmille, Robel-Akbel, so there can be somebody we look forward to meeting, following, and witnessing their awesome.

Give us the Crystal War, the Secret Sixth Ministry, Time Travelling Tales, the Spitewardens, so there are tales and mysteries that make us curious to investigate and yearn to learn more about.

Make us feel, that we are Gridanian, Ul'dahn, Lomisan, like we were San d'Orian, Windurstian, and Lastokan, so we can fight for our countries instead of being mercenaries for seals and items.

Otherwise, any dialogue in any quest are just empty fillers used as an excuse to make us pretend to battle virtual monsters, obtain nonexistent items, to bring back to imaginary folks for intangible rewards.
