Devs don't even run the game at highest graphics specs

In fairness to Square, no computer exists yet that can run FF14 at the highest settings. :P

Untrue, I can already run it at max settings. I just need another EVGA Geforce GTX580 3GB and I'll be running it at max settings within optimal FPS range.

Anyways, I agree with a lot of other posters about this - this is the most obvious proof out there that people are going to bitch about anything FFXIV.

Yeah it's beyond possible, but Ambient Occulation is bugged in the client itself, so no matter the setup, the bugged nature of AO will hinder performance on any rig, it varies from rig to rig, but it does hurt your performance. I don't get a huge slow down with it on, but I also let CCC handle certain AA features, so I'm not sure how the client AA is.
