Don't worry I am pretty sure the dev/rep team has been at this long enough to grow thick skins, and depriving the games fans of sneak peaks at future content will never be on the table as long as the game has fans.
I think we would all like to see some sneak peeks of the new graphics engine, and the new character creation options whenever they are ready.
I would point out that high end renders of 3d models tie up CPU time. It can take days to produce a single image render or an animation, and that computer does nothing else during that time. Of course that doesn't apply to in game screenshots, but the point is providing this sort of thing takes resources that could be used for something else. I look at it as them giving us something fun along with the bi-montly updates, much like the live producer letters. The same goes for the scanned concept drawings provided with the 2.0 info. Yoshi-P does this stuff instead of sleeping.....
They didn't have to do this, and they could treat all of this as trade secrets. Every bit of info they provide us could give their competitors an advantage over them next year.
What would be cool to see when 2.0 comes out would be an artbook with the concept art along with high end renders of characters and enemies. I'd pay for that!
LMFAO you are giving that little taru WAAYYYYYY to much credit, and insinuating he has way more influence then he really does. I can assure you any dev still reading these forums that hasn't found a new job by now takes comments like these with a fine grain of salt.
