Before it was DRK due to its actually sustainable AoE dps, but with Unleash only being 50 potency, I'm not so sure. Anyone have thoughts?

Pally is the "Tank Fantasy" Lots of cooldowns and blocking.
War is the "Beef Shield" With some mitigation and a lot of HP to offset the difference
Drk is somewhere in between.
Honestly pick a tank that suits your preference of style and roll with it. In the end it doesn't matter WHAT you play it's HOW WELL you play it
I think one big contributor to drk being the best 3.x dungeon tank was the ability to sprint between pulls, which makes dungeon runs faster. In terms of dungeon speedrunning capability 3.x war was pretty close, and its lack of sprint was slightly compensated by the less healing required on bosses and higher single target dps. While war had better burst aoe than drk thanks to berserk, internal release and infuriate, they can't utilize it to full potential since if you're running with competent dps mobs die in a few gcds so probably half of your berserk duration would be wasted. This also got worse in 4.x since now we need 3 gcds to get our dmg buff (storm's eye) compared to 2 gcds back then (maim). On the other hand now all tanks can use sprint between pulls.
Honestly I don't think it matters too much. With the same people drk vs war in dungeons were probably at most 15-30s difference, only pld was lagging quite far behind due to the lack of aoe, which is no longer an issue now.
Also you should be using abyssal drain instead of unleash as your main aoe skill.
I'M the best dungeon tank now. ;D
I'd say they're all pretty much the same in dungeons. Paladins have way more utility by far, but in dungeons that doesn't matter at all since you're usually the only one taking damage all the time. There aren't really any mechanics for people to mess up that badly, which is often the times where tank utility is actually needed.

AOE rotation is the most fun on DRK but WAR has newly increased big pack utility with steel cyclone self healing.
All three are good. If you're looking for most aoe damage it's DRK.
You don't use Unleash past initial hate acquisition. Drag them to your preferred spot, put down salted earth, use abyssal drain, dark arts quietus when available depending on level.
Define best. Not dying providing and raid utility Palladin is the king. As DPS is similar, presuming someone has the slashing debuff that is.
PLD due to the fact it has most mitigation and a built in stun
Not gonna bet my week`s salary on it but doesn`t DRK have the most AoE damage still?
The fact that they can all srpint between pulls is a huge deal though.
Dark Knight is hand's down the best dungeon tank if you're looking for fat pulls. Dark Arts + Abyssal Drain into Quietus + Blood Weapon is a monster combo that ensures you'll be pumping out AOE damage and self-healing like mad. PLD is second best right now with so many powerful mitigation tool and solid AoE. WAR is still pretty much stuck in the state where it just kind of... exists. It can tank, but there's no real reason to bring it along over the other two.
DRK and WAR handle large pulls better due to abyssal drain and steel cyclone (also war has short cooldowns). All of them are fine though.
