The only reason why i think OP is asking such question because he probably has not done the top end content yet where the healing throughput check is pretty tight. PI is simply amazing in such scenario

It is indeed. Maeka, you can also try this out in O1, since the boss also has Charboidys in normal mode. Then, you'll find yourself a good way to make use of PI in the high-end raids where the heals get even more intense than ever before.

It has a lot of uses, such as Lyrai said which is my favorite use of it.

Thank you. I'm glad I'm not alone in this! I haven't brought my WHM to O1S myself, but I cleared it as a PLD. I was able theorycraft this after just bringing my WHM to 70 and saw how it works by just a dungeon. (Big thanks to Thin Air for letting me spam Cure III XD)
