Super Easy Mode. You always have a reraise status effect that doesn't grant weakness. Dying is of no concern.
Ridiculing players who have some trouble with raiding, for whatever reason (new/nervous/young/old/limits/etc/etc) … players who you can still meet in ‘normal’ right now. Even players who don't dare to finish 'normal' to begin with. I dunno people. Whatever floats your boat I guess.
Nobody is asking for a auto-win or a mog-station option.

If you still win you're not trying hard enough! Proves its too hard!
Having increased mentor progression inside super easy dungeons could be another nice addition to consider. Help where it is needed most!
(Except that many ‘mentors’ in-game inappropriately are actually the ‘funny’ people in this thread.)

Not opposed to a solo mode for dungeons. That said, next April 1st, I want SE to release a blog about, 'Gentle Difficulty.'
the fact that everything already has an easy mode is why the player base is so fragmented and the no bonus culture exists.... if a normal mode fight was actually remotely difficult and similar to its extreme / savage mode counter part. then players would be a lot more willing to accept those bonus players into partys for those hard modes because the fact they cleared the normal modes would show they at least grasp the basics of the fight and have a minimum proficiency..
as it stands though the normal modes for most things are almost impossible to fail and teach players absolutely nothing.. even omega normal.
But if they did that, people would complain that it is too hard and they can't progress the story because they are stuck in a trial.
See: Shinryu
I suppose I wouldn't really complain if the developers added Deltascape: Padded Helmet mode. But I have to wonder, would you really feel like parading around rewards for clearing it? I'd honestly be a little embarrassed, like I was when I got my "Best Moral Support" trophy from Little League. Even at 8, I knew exactly what it meant.
I mean, "postin' in a trolllllll thread" and all that, but still.
Bosses will stop before each mechanic and politely tell you which direction to move in. When the fight is over he buys everyone ice cream.
