This already happens doesn't make a difference in a susano learning group someones parting words where I hate you all, and was constantly talkin trash to the ot in the group, so people are gona grief regardless

Im not calling myself an elite or hardcore raider, all what i am trying to say is, this game is easy, putting savage aside, if u make this game any easier there is no reason for a challenge or push yourself to adapt to the system of the game. And i am referring only to our generation 20+ and not 50+.

I don't see a problem. The normal mode is the mode where the two shall meet. Normal teaches the fundamentals. That is my whole issue, one side calls for insane difficulty spikes and special treatment, but think people with less skills should quit the game or not get rewards if they want their own version.
I was not trying to imply that. I was just stating an opposite which happened to use some of your words.Im not calling myself an elite or hardcore raider, all what i am trying to say is, this game is easy, putting savage aside, if u make this game any easier there is no reason for a challenge or push yourself to adapt to the system of the game. There is still difficulty, it is just never static because the world stays X level of power while you get ilvl to the infinite every patch.

Now I understand what you were trying to say. What I was trying to say is using the correct words if they implement easy mode, there will be the case of utter chaos of the general gameplay, for my part making it easier for players is helping them in extremes and stick to them till the cleared it. As i know how it feels like beeing knocked back by the rly hardcore raiders than complain about a every aspect of how you play breath and move. Wich forced me to become better. So i do apologise if my attitude was incorrect.

It's a really interesting as it depicts well the entitlement of some people nowadays.
Yes you pay for you sub, you pay to access the content. You don't pay to get all the content, just to be able to access it. It works the same with solo games : you don't get to see the ending if you can't beat x boss.
Why would a mmo be any different in that regard ?
The skill requirements for FF14 are low enough as they are for everything that is not savage/extremes. You work to get past this content, it's part of the fun, and if you can't or don't want to, this is not the game's fault.

I think this is the best thread ever. Made even better by the ones attacking it. Jeez people don't you know when someone's being funny? OP you are my hero!
I could see a use for this mob attacks do 75% less but everything else is the same there HP and timing.
This would very much let people that can get timing down to get to phase 4 of a battle easily to get to that to get it down vs fighting with it.
Think back to t9 when it was current content.
Great our groups can make it to final phase. but we wipe. But we only make it to the final phase 30% of the time. Err RAGE QUIT. Replace new person teach them the fight. make it to final phase 25% of the time for the 1st week.
Something like this. See fight get good at fight without having to freak out about wiping, and understand what is happening.
Finally reward weak like 1 current tomb 2 older tomb
I feel like there was a legitimate point brought up in this thread: "easier modes" for disabled/older players. I don't think tuned-down content should be created, but accessibility options should be increased. For example, they could create an option to replace the button mashing in Royal Menagerie (which can be a struggle for some) with rotating the analog stick. (I don't play computer, so don't know how that could be replaced for keyboard.)
As for easier content... I believe they're planning to allow you to take squadrons into lower-level dungeons eventually? So there's that.
Edited to add: endgame content is fun, but not a requirement. The struggle to clear itself is meant to be part of that. And if you need the gear, similar ilevel equipment can (eventually) be crafted.

Interestingly, I've found that that particular button prompt is actually pretty easy to complete on controller. Because the prompt responds to any of the buttons, it doesn't matter which one you use so there's really nothing stopping you from using all of them. Press all the triggers and run your thumbs across all the face buttons and it's completed very quickly.
Still there's merit in more accessibility options for those who are physically impaired.

They should just add stormblood boost potion that lets you finish the mainstory.
