That could work.This is a fun idea. Alchemy could do with a little love and I think it would be very popular.
Good point, though if it was only temporary and limited to a particular look (one for male one for female), I doubt it would affect sales.
If it worked the way it does in WoW (where you use items not potions), you could transform into creatures, npcs etc that are not available on the character creation screen and only for a limited time, 10-20 mins with a longish cooldown. So for example you could become an adorable little catfish person, a succubus, Viera (one way of getting them into the game) or even take on the likeness of a raid mob briefly.I am not against the idea... was just fulfilling the OP's request for a reason why they would say no
