Battle Music ON / OFF <[ YES , PLEASE! ]> <[ Where? ]> <[ When? ]>

Man its over 2 years now since ppl wanted this. Is it realy that hard to give us this option? I realy enjoy the ingame music.

But walking around and getting it interrupted with battle music tunes forces me to turn off ingame music and start looking for other BGM's outside the game..

So please please can we have this option soon ? ? ? ?

I know im talking for alot of people with this wish. And if you give us this option more ppl will actually listen to the ingame music your awesome composer(s) made.

When I'm doing gathering, seriously I do not want any of that battle music nor the FATE music. They are irritating. They destroy that peaceful, serene, almost sacred gathering trance.

I 110% agree. I've been wanting this since launch. The battle music gets tiring after a while, but I enjoy the other background music - I don't like turning all of it off.

They said it and forgot about it. Like their login queue having a limit and anyone beyond that limit just gets dropped off the queue, their to-do list probably also have a limit, and things that got pushed off the list gets forgotten until enough players complain about it again.

After all, in software development, when people get used to something and stop complaining, it gets written off as a feature.

While we're at it, why not make seamless remixes for the overworld battles like in crystal tower?

The battle music in HW is not as annoying as in ARR (that would be impossible), but the FATEs music still murders my ears, so I support this 100%.

I love the idea. It was done in FFXIII-2 too (the "agressive mix" tracks), but they only played for a few seconds before the actual battle started.
