    I want sustain back as an OGCD, something like a 15 second regen on a 30 second CD or something. That way it won't affect our dps at all and we can still heal pets. In bosses like Doma Castle my egi would die constantly.

    It boggles the mind why SMN is so weak, it brings about the same utility as NIN but is far less powerful. It should be bumped up at least 100~200 dps. The magic damage trick attack and 5% damage up on a player isn't really good enough. Maybe it would be better if there were 4 different casters but since there is only 3 now, it isn't worth bringing or counting as a full utility similar to how foe's old effect was and why MCH was preferred.

    I'm still in shock that people actually used sustain. I only used it for open world stuff which only lasted up to lvl50. Then never even bothered with it (explains why they took it away)

    I'm happy with the class as it is but I welcome anything tbh.

    If they not gonna buff ruin III , might as well reduce their mp cost. The MP cost for ruin III its ludicrous for how much damage it makes. And we should be able to select who gets Devotion a bit like Goad and not like Russian roulette.

    Well that's just how you lived life. You'd be surprised just how many people have and now want to solo hunt marks, duties(trials, dungeons, raids), or simply need a thing to hold aggro which requires Titan. The whole entire point of Sustain was basically for Titan. To keep him alive. But not only was Sustain deleted but also having Bahamut out resets pet aggro, making Titan useless. At this point he might as well get deleted. He just can't function anymore.

    Oh I totally agree with Titan being useless. That's is something that really needs revising. I don't see the point of having titan at the moment

    • make ruin 3 replace ruin 1. *only change the mp cost for it, same potency*

    • make ruin 4 only usable with a pet proc and when in trance *just like pvp*

    • give some way to get some self heals for both smn and their egis, i suggest, giving a new buff *osmosis* that make dot ticks give part of damage as hp for both smn and egi, while removing drain from role cross class and give it only to blm, buffing its potency for them, i bet they would appreciate it for solo stuff.

    • make it so tribind is actually useful by buffing its potency and reducing cast and cost. OR. give miasma 2 for smns as well *easier fix*

    • make demi bahamut auto atk instead of only attacking when we do. that would make we use addle as an actual support debuff instead of just a proc for another atk.

    • turn wyrmwave into earthshakers instead. an aoe move around target with dmg fall off and etc.

    • maybe having a proc that makes the 2nd akhmorn hit multiple times just like the real thing, but with each hit being much weaker than the previous one *really just a "for show"thing more than actual damage*

    • one of the worst things that makes me somewhat embarrassed of being a smn in raids so far is that they changed for almost every job but smn/sch *mainly smn* the need to wait between pulls, for smns being at least 40s between pulls *considering a 10/15s countdown before pull* to be able to do the full opener. so what arcanists need is something similar to nin's hide, that outside of combat resets the aetherflow cd, hell, maybe summoning an egi gets you a aetherflow reset while in not in combat.

    • keeping the bahamut aether after dying would also help a lot with the severe penalties smn get when they die. there is still the penalties of losing the aetheflow stacks and having to wait for them, needing mp to call an egi and etc, so i dont think it would be unfair.

    • make ifrit do a bit more damage, and change radiant shield to radiant claws, that gives a buff to the party that adds an extra 50 *or less* potency auto atk *that goes off the their atk value*, i think this would make ifrit more viable by himself while also having an advantage over garuda in a more physical damage oriented party.

    • make garuda's contagion last a bit longer. maybe 23s. so it lasts for the whole bahamut calling.

    • titan egi.... this needs a lot of rework, even if we get an way to heal it, it is useless if we call bahamut and it goes away. and i think that having both bahamut and egi while cool, might be too op for lv 70, and adding a provoke to it might be abused for some stuff. so, maybe a change its function? keeping it with the same high hp so it survives when it is in the middle of all the mobs while making his standard skill an weak aoe, and maybe extending his earthen ward tot he party, reducing its potency.

    • reducing enkindle total cd by a bit also is nice, considering it doesnt hit that hard in comparison with other moves anymore.

    • make devotion either a party wide buff with same potency, or allow us to pick someone to buff with a higher potency buff.

    • give rouse a trait that makes the pet atks always proc ruination.

    I know I'm going against the conditions set by the OP here, but I feel like a ton of SMN's problems are basically CAUSED by the weird funky design crisis it has ATM. My personal feelings on which is best aside, what IS "SMN's concept" right now? A DoT mage? Okay, but they took away a ton of our DoTs and rebundled that power into Demi-Bahamut, a burst cooldown. A pet job? Okay, when we haven't gotten any new pets or pet abilities since the job's release? A burst mage with flashy animations? Getting closer, but let's not forget that building UP to those things is a ridiculously long period of using some of the most boring uninspired spell graphics on the planet (Ruinnnnnnnn!!!!).

    There are probably potency and QoL fixes they can give to the job to get it's numbers in a workable state; no doubt. But I think it's pretty apparent that the developers have no clue what direction they want the job to go in and that is definitely showing in its problems and playstyle.

    Can barley solo bosses with titan anymore without someone having to heal it. I want to be able to do undersized run's with two dps no heals. please. (usually on used titan only the bosses that had mechanics that froze things etc...)

    I would be content if the devs would at least post something about how they are aware of the SMN problems and feedback. From what I gather even the Japanese forums are complaining about the job as well. It is even more discouraging after the live letter where I felt smn was all but ignored, not to mention the questions regarding it are minor compared to its actual problems that I feel they don't want to address.
