Is Gear rewards always the same color

Is gear that you get for doing quests always the same color or is it a random color. If so why did they make the healer set that you get around level 43 pink in color. Pink is a decidely female color. I know I can dye it but all gear up to this point has been generic colors.

Pink is a female color as much as black is a male color.

That said, now I'm curious, too, about if the coloring is randomly generated or preset.

Gear from NPC's is always the same color, however that doesn't mean it wasn't randomly generated, as they placed the npc's in the new/upcoming/older regions etc. I doubt that somebody thought that pink would be a "funny" or "creative" idea, but then again, I also doubt that somebody actually cared, the idea was more like, give out free gear with xxxxx stats. Nobody cares about the color lol.

You're a lalafell. You'll look adorable in pink. Were you aware that historically, pink was associated with boys in English culture until very, very recently when the 'girls wear pink' marketing became a thing? Don't shut yourself away from an entire colour just because you're afraid of it. The ladies won't hesitate to enjoy the shades of blue dye available to us.

In any case, quest reward gear is always dyed a consistent but horrifying shade whenever possible. There seems to be some attempt to make it match for each 'set' and 'region' but the dye and glamour quests are important for a reason.

Yes i guess you are right Serilda. Marketing has made me think Boys don't wear pink. I actually like the color pink.
