Think you have just been lucky on the level 68's and unlucky on the 64-66. i290 with 1370 craft and find fail rate on level 66 is around 2-3% and 5-6% on the 68's. In HW i remember not being able to quick syn the level 68 to 69 stuff to I was full i170. So I guess it depends if we consider the i290 the i170 sets or the i150 set. Personally think we getting sets/set in 4.1 so that one should let us fully quick syn.Yeah, I think so, to a degree at least. I'm ilvl 290 on my character doing quick synth and I'll get 1 fail, 1 HQ, and the rest normal in 50 ~ 75 quick synths with lvl 68 stuff. I still think that 1 fail is wrong. I shouldn't fail anything and I should have more HQ.
That said, I do think there is something wrong with the lvl 64 ~ 66 quick synth. I get far more failures quick synthing worsted string (as an example) than I do with twinthread. This with a weaver that 290 ilvl. It seems hinky. It could be just really bad luck but it's been consistent for the entire time I've been level 70 in each of my classes.
1324 craft and get 1 fail on a lvl 65, c'mon SE crafting some mats one by one makes me nuts, especially weaver and leatherworker.
I think I've broken two whole items out of everything I've quick synthed since hitting 70. It already seems pretty rare.
I wont farm 3000 goldscript just to fail less quick synth....
I'll just wait 4.1 and craft / farm wathever new stuff they'll make available. (They will right?)
Not really related, but what's up with your sig, OP? The game flat out tells you it's a 1% chance; you shouldn't need to post a screenshot proving it.
There have been tons of people going around swearing that it never happens, and that the 1% displayed in game is only displayed because that's the minimum number that can be displayed there.
Yeah, I know it's pretty dumb to think that, but they existed.
I imagine the sig is there for their sake.
