Scholar lvl 60 job quest - How to remove the debuff?

I'm really sorry for probably asking a stupid question but I just can't seem to figure out how to cleanse the Tonberry sickness from the NPCs during the quest...

I got through it by just killing the little plague worms that spawn as quickly as possible. The boss warns you before the creature appears via a long casting animation. Could try silencing it as well with Selene but idk if that would work since I didn't try it.

Been a long while since I did this quest but I remember having to quickly cycle through NPCs to cast leeches on ALL of them.

If anything spawns that needs to die bane should be enough probably

I don't remeber a lot about the DPS parts, what stuck to me was that leeches does work but you need to cast it fast and repeatedly whenever any of the NPCs gets a debuff, which is very frequent.

Yes I remember you had to cast leeches for his, could be a bug now that skill has been removed and replaced with Edina. My advice is contact help desk in game and see if it is indeed a bug.

Selene helps with the AOE Esuna she has, maybe try that! It's how I got through.

Hi, I just did this recently. Just cast Esuna on the npcs will do the trick. Be sure to check for the debuffs everytime worm spawns

It was the worms. Esuna only works if all of them are dead.
