    It is a problem with a working workaround. But like every problem, it needs to be FIXED. Mostly every freaking game that uses instances forces party into the same instance UNLESS players switch them manually. And yes, there usually IS an option to switch instance manually from anywhere, not only on zoning-in.
    Oh please, be a little less hyperbolic. You're exaggerating pretty horribly here.

    I already said that it's a slight annoyance, and that's what it is. It's not a big deal at all.

    Do I think they should never do anything about it? Maybe if they plan to get rid of the instances. But if they are going to be more permanent, then they should definitely let you chose when teleporting. But people act like it's the end of the world or something.

    some places it does, especially where neighboring maps have very isolated teleports. Your solution sorta works.. but is still less convenient than letting people choose which instance they'd like to enter.. or just making people teleport into the same instance their party is in.

    Like I said, not life altering. just annoying.

    Its more then slightly irritating. I shouldn't have to run half way across the map (seeing the maps are so big with one or two manual exits on the far ends) and then back to play with my partner if we want to do open world content. If they can't code in that you link with your party at least they can give you the choice to chose when you teleport in.

    I'm not really sure why they needed instances beyond The Lochs anyway since Ixion spawns were 90% of the issue. Not that I'm complaining.. I've made a cool 17 mil selling all the grade VI materia I've gotten from Hunts this week.

    Help me understand why we need instances in the first place. My server has maybe 9 people per instance in any given zone.

    Blame the people who were camping the Lochs for the Ixion Fate in mass numbers and thus preventing other people from entering the zone due to it being too full.

    Find it funny, that even tho we have instances back - my teleportation to Lochs got cancelled because one of the instances were full. Why not teleport me to empty one then instead of cancelling it?

    Instences are all well and good but we need a option to change instence without going through a zone door and we need to be put in to the same instence as our party members like that should be a given

    It should either ask us upon teleport what instance. Or ensure other party members teleport to leader's instance (or Teleport instigator's landing instance)

    At least they should do so for the next expac. I don't forsee them fixing it this expac.
