A question about Moogles & their "pets"... :o

    Hi there,

first of all although im playing this game since mid 2.X - I never was interested in crafter jobs for real - I'll tried fisher & weaver up to 50 but couldn't get used to them at all. I left the whole crafting part and just went on with war/magic deciples, savage/primal stuff & pvp until now.

But what bothers me for a long time since HW dropped is that I'd love to get the 2 Dragon minions from the Moogle beast tribe quests – now i wonder what is the fastest way or strategy to get those? More specific which crafter job would be the best choice to go without going for to much xcross/role skills of other crafters, is it even possible to get them with just 1 or 2 crafter jobs at all? Or do u need all the xtra skills for a specific rotation or stuff like that?

I really, really wanna give it a try but I don't wanna lvl all crafter/gatherer cls' and spend much amount of money on their gear to get them any day far, far, faaaaar away – considering beast tribes quests are already capped in time-periods which took a bit by itself : /

So any tips, ideas, strategies are welcome - thx in advance <3

    so long

The Moogle-Crafts are so easy, that any Crafterclass will be able to do them without cross-class-skills or any indepth knowledge of crafting in general.

Fastest (and easiest) way to level up a crafter would include:
    - do your daily GC-turn-ins - lots of exp!
    - leve-quests
    - Ixali-dailies - finish them and you can buy a mount and two pets aswell! Those are going to be a bit harder than the mog-dailies though

You can pick any class you like, really - but I would recommend GSM, weaver or LTW, assuming that SMN is indeed your main-class. That way you'll be able to repair parts of your gear yourself, something I find very useful!

If youre weaver is already level 50, then id just try out the first moogle quest to see how it goes. Finish unlocking the tribe(if you havent already), and see if you can make the first thing they ask for. Moogle crafts dont require you to have any materials to work with(the quest provides them) aside from some crystals you probly already have. Any craft you fail you can just ask the NPC and theyll give you more materials to try again(as often as needed). If you have a hard time making some of the tougher recipes it might help to get a couple of the level 15 cross-classes, but i'd just start out by trying what you have now and see how it goes. And if you decide you want a deeper understanding of the crafting stuff and to give it another whirl, come back and ask(here or on the disciple of hand forum) and im sure someone will have some good tips or a guide you can read.

Edit: If you do decide you need cross classes, each class can be gotten to level 15 in under an hour. Heres how. Equip any exp boosting items you have(ala mhigo earring, brand new ring, friendship circlet), and go to the guild for the new craft you want to pick up the skill for. Each guild has a "Guild Supplier" NPC who sells the materials to make the recipes up to roughly level 15. Start making one of each item(for the bonus first time completion exp along with that for finishing the item) - you get more exp if you put more quality into the recipe, but finishing is still what matters most. Stop to do the level 5 and 10 quests when you get there. And before you know it, you'll have a lot more skills to play with.
