Just started, not sure I like my avatar (?)

I picked an elf and I dont know if I like how he looks. is it possible to change? If so, how? I really like my name, and I hope I can change how I look but keep my name. any helpers?

also, the world i picked was seblina. It seemed to have the most yellow birds on the selection screen. does that mean it was most populated?

If you are still low level, you can just delete your current character and start a new one. Your name shouldn't be taken in the few minutes that takes =P

Also I do believe more chocobos lit up on the world select means a higher population.

elves have the worst emotes too,lol. anyway when 2.0 comes (one year from now) there will be new race gender maybe now races and new customizations. We will be able to re-create our characters then also(supposedly)

No one likes elvaan. Lalafell is the way to go, without a doubt for me. If not I'd probably manthra, then hume, then galka, then elvaan. In fact, if elvaan was my only choice, I probably wouldn't play. I get great joy from watching my little lala run around.
