    Inner Beast is 350. Sure, it ignores the damage penalty, but Holy Spirit is 430. Shield Oath only reduces damage dealt by 15%, so in the end you still end up with a 365 potency attack that you can spam whenever your mana is full. I'm not gonna bother mentioning Requiescat in this case since Warriors have Berserk.

    Still, my argument stands. Fell Cleave under Defiance would get reduced to a 400 potency attack, so it's not that far from Inner Beast, except we'd get to choose between doing extra damage, or going for the heal + mitigation. That's a pretty fair trade, if you ask me.

    While 4.05 was a step in the right Direction I hope that we still see more changes.

    Inner release
    -Unlink from unchained
    -Scrap the Buff completely. Make it a flat dmg increase or a buff that lets us use our gauge spender as oGCDs. Just something else to bring us away from the Tight window we have now.

    Onslaught
    - remove the cost. There is still no reason it has a BG cost

    Shake it off
    - Since SE wants to change it anyway. I hope they dont dissapoint us.

    Overpower
    - Let it generate gauge to utilize our aoe spenders more

    Oh... yeah, right. So that makes it a 340 potency attack under Shield Oath. I guess that does make Inner Beast better in terms of damage. Still don't think it would break anything to open up Fell Cleave during Defiance. Though now that I think of it, people would probably just switch to Deliverance anyway whenever their Berserk is up and their beast gauge gets full. So in the end it probably wouldn't change much.

    What do you guys think about onslaught becoming free after a specific range threshold? Like if a mechanic forces you to go ranged (which Omega savage sure as hell loves to do!) we can recover back into our rotation cleanly, but it won't mess with our overall melee dps rotation/damage output, since SE doesn't seem to want that. Kinda fair, I'd rather not close the gap to actual dedicated DPS classes, so I understand why they'd be hesitant to remove Onslaught's gauge cost. I think I'd rather see this over a change that increases our cooldown on it, I enjoy my double onslaught in IR and I actually do tend to use Onslaught after provoke to grab agro more interestingly, and to gap close on v3s occasionally (probably more for fun at the expense of some damage, but I still pull decent numbers so screw it)

    Oh I know they will. The fact that they realize that this skill is in fact a cheese skill and thus not bothering to fully implement its use in end-game content fully should speak volumes. You only need to be hit by bad breath to realize the potential of this skill and lets consider what bad breath puts on you but Shake it Off removes it all at once. I can honestly say that I will miss what Shake it Off currently is and I blame poor battle design for the reworking of this skill in 4.1.

    However I do agree with the OP generating gauge. 10 gauge is a good number that I'm comfortable with that doesn't promote OP spamming but still rewarding you for doing it 2-3 times making your next SP/SE combo push the gauge to 50+.
