    I don't think I would derive any benefit from it if it was in the on-screen combat text. I honestly have tuned that out at this point. Too many other shiny things to look at. If it was something to toggle on sure.

    Tecnically the scrolling combat text needs a revamp.
    It's been the same since ARR and we can't customise it (beside text size i believe)

    I mean, we can't even filter our dmg from other player dmg when it comes to DoT and AoE. it's frustrating (and I'd actually be happy to see my DoT dmg properly)

    For the flying text I wouldn't mind just the icons or even just a different colour. On the numbers. Red magic damage. Orange physical or something maybe blue for unaspected. And green for heals.

    I wouldn't want to see every single skill name in hit by come up in flying text though that would just clutter the screen to much.

    You could do it in the combat Los though but I've turned them off. The only things I get in my battle window are the queues. Like gobbie come closer or gobbie be far. That give you positioning hints for various mechanics.
