4.05 DRG Gear Path (Verity -> Savage)

I'm try to gather other DRG's opinions on their gear path starting from a full i310 verity set to full 340 savage/upgraded Creation set.

Currently, I'm replacing my 310 set with Delta Normal 320 pieces (head, arms, feet, belt, chest next week). I plan to by Lost Allagan pants as my first Creation purchase.

I'm close to clearing V1S and plan to get whatever I can from V1S and V2S (I think 3&4 are going to take a nice while if at at all since I dont have a static).

I'm also trying to avoid crafted pieces since they're just too expensive for me.

Any thoughts or opinions would be appreciated! \o/

I'm probably buying Lost Chest simply because I have 3 of the 4 springs for pants, so I should have 320 pants next week and a 330 body to go along with everything else at 320 or higher by the end of next week. I plan on doing Savage 1.0 and 2.0 at the very least this weekend, so with any luck maybe I'll end up with a 340 accessory or something as well! 3.0 and 4.0 are probably out of my league for now as I'm not in a static to work on those.

To answer your question directly, I think you're doing it right but are you also working on or have Ex Primal Weapon/Accessories? That could give you the extra boost in Savage for certain, while you continue to build points and items for Lost/Normal Omega gear.

Side Question: Why is everyone using VS1, 2 etc. instead of OS1, 2 and such?

Your goal is to get rid of as much SS as possible.

If you have the money or contacts, try to get the following crafted pieces:
- Hands
- Feet
- Legs

This might also help you decide on which Creation pieces you want as good melds on the crafted pieces might equal some i330 creation gears (need someone to do the stat weight calculation for that)

If not, try to aim to reduce the SS you have and replace CRIT/DET with DI where SS cannot be removed.

From V1S, Belt is the best piece you can get.
For the rest, the best course is to go with what you get and how to spend your creation thomes.
I'd say that the creation body piece is good until you can clear O4S, but it all depends on how fast you can progress/clear savage content. Also, with Grade VI materias in guaranteed slots, as long as you raise your item level, anything else is super-optimisation.

Yeah, i forgot to mention i have my Susano weapon and my right side is 2 Omega normals, 2 lakshmi, 1 verity (will be replaced soon).

And I think the V1S, V2S, etc is catching on because its what you see in DF/PF. Thats just my opinion, though.
