Level 59 having trouble making gil.

What is a good way to make money for a lower level player? Right now I'm a level 59 Paladin, but looking to switch to monk as my main class. I know this sounds silly, but I really want to get a Non La glamour for my monk before I start leveling him from 47, but they are 3mil on my server.
Just wondering if there is any possible way to make this kind of gil at my level? I think my highest profession atm, and the one I want to level up is Fisher atm, at around level 20. Def willing to level him though, but can't get into Ala Mhigo until after I complete quite a lot of MSQ

DoL is your best bet. If you can craft your own DoL gears, it is very cheap to level them up. Grind by gathering, and sell what you gather.

Once your DoL is leveled up, start gathering treasure maps (or just buy them from MB if you want to) and hope you find some good mats from treasure chests. If you get into aquapolis and manage to roll on some rare items, you can also make some very nice gil.

You can just farm dungeons for the Gil, but this means you need time.
Selling synth materials on the market board can also be a "fast" way, you just need to watch, what sells for how much and how fast.
You can obtain this materials via GC seals, tomestones and treasure maps.
Do your Challenge Log, it also rewards you with Gil.
Minions from Dungeons and some Orchestrion rolls are also selling for some good Gil.

The only way to get "fast" Gil involves crafting or gathering in the current level range.

Do you have challenge log unlocked? That's some easy gil right there. Also doing roulettes as a tank when they're in need nets you some cash, though if you're looking to change jobs that might not be as much of an option. Doing your centurio hunts gives money too, not a lot but it builds up fast if you do them daily. Can also just check your server's market board and see what mob drops people are using for crafting that you might have access to. Those are all easy peasy battle class related ways to make some coin.

If you level your fisher to 66 you can get start getting gazelleskin maps to sell or use to try the new Aquapolis too. Both are avenues for more money.

A thought occurs to me. What exact glamour are you trying to achieve? Rather then trying to make the money, is it possible you could gather the mats for the glamour and get it made by a crafter?

If that isnt possible, then ill give you a money making technique that no one has mentioned yet. Youre level 59. Odds are decent that you have a stack of Poetics(and possibly GC seals) - plus there are probly a handful of level 50-60 instances you havent run and poetics bonuses you could have. Find some stuff(crafting mats, orchestrion scrolls, whatever) you can buy with those that can be sold to other players in need and turn your "extra" currencies into gil.

you can level Miner / Botanist or both and farm Ephemeral Nodes and do Aetherial Reduction and sell the Aethersands

Gathering is a low price high volume industry. You just gota grind and sell a lot. Or do what most of us do, gather and craft everything yourself so that you get pure profit from everything you make. That is pure profit if you don't take into account time. But I find gathering and crafting super fun so the time doesn't bother me.

2 good methods I found out recently.

Mining Effervescent is very profitable and only requires level 24 mining (check server prices before you go and level it up)

Also killing the Yanxia tigers for tiger skin, that's used for leatherworker leves from pretty much 62-70, so they are pretty well sought after! (sells for about 3k each)

To add to this the Aquapolis is item level synched to, I believe, i180. This means you can't steam roll it with level 61+ characters. I would advise you bring at minimum 1 healer with you if you plan to try tanking it preferably bring a full party who each have their own map as Aquapolis can give 200-300k per run if you get treasure goblins on the lower floors, and some of the minion pets and furnishings from the 6th and 7th floors sell for millions.
