My FFXI character, I played the game for 6 years:


I sadly lost screenshots of my beta version of FFXIV (it was a character with the same design as the FFXI one), I think the 1.0 was not for me because I stopped 2 months after launch and destroyed the account.

I did came back when heavensward was introduced, for a free trial. And now I don't stop anymore, playing everyday I still main WHM after all those years, have the same name, just my hair changed

Dragon Nest:



I mained one of the healer classes in that game, Saint. They did not behave like healers in most other MMOs. For one, they were one of the tankiest classes in the game, in a game where being tanky didn't matter quite as much as having mobility/numerous abilities to escape being combo'd to death. They used wands as melee weapons. The game has the best action RPG combat system in existence bar none, I haven't even seen any single player games even come close to matching what Dragon Nest did nearly eight years ago. The only reason DN isn't more recognized is because it got mismanaged into the ground almost immediately - it's a very good case study of how to ruin an amazing combat system by designing everything else in some of the worst ways possible.

(DN classes weren't very traditional either. One of the branches of the Archer class, for example, was called Acrobat. They were a weird cross between Bard and Monk. It has to be seen to be believed.)

Also that game killed the concept of wings as accessories for me.

Weird thing is that I came into Dragon Nest expecting to main an archer, and ended up maining a healer instead. I came into FFXIV expecting to main a healer, and ended up maining an archer instead.

I sadly have lost hundreds of screenshots after years of laptops breaking down, and I was only able to save few from the MMOs I was previously active in.
I usually don't use the same name on my characters, I do variations based on the game's lore/naming conventions, but they do share some things in common such as:
- Magic wielding class
- dark complexion with pale hair and eye color or vice-versa (usually green or purple coloring)
