Ixion proves you need to upgrade servers

There should be no reason I should get silver spaming heals, and being there before it was pulled. The lag/ border line zone crashes are unbearable. I was amazed in seeing all the connection lost icons along with huge stuttering of ixion. I cannot believe this is STILL an issue. This is coming from someone that god gold on foxy lady that popped a minute after, arriving around 70% as well. I know how to get credit on fates.

Please upgrade servers, where zones can handle more then 300 people. It is needed, and a lot of excuses for not having enough inventory is also tied to the low server capacity.

This doesn't solve anything. You'll just make the new zones Ixion can spawn in being too congested.

The players will be spread out around 3 or 4 zones to find it during the weather change, before the right zone and location show up in the chat.

The servers are not so bad except when they have just released an expansion and the worlds are seriously overcrowded. Squeenix is NOT going to spend more money on more/bigger servers when a big percentage of the population will rush through the msq and raids then quit again. It doesn't make sense financially. They want to make money like any other company.

The game feels like it is 10 years old or something when you look at the capacities of it. 300 people should not be overloading a zone, regardless of the situation. FFXI handled Besieged better then ixion, and that was a zone wide fight and handled 720 people better then 300 in the lochs. They keep telling us they can't do this or can't do that with inventory, because the servers can't handle it. For a month? the DF server kept having problems, after the AFK boot, the housing was still congested.

It is time to upgrade servers, they feel like 10 years old. Maybe that will help them have a real solution to housing too. (The issue with housing of not giving enough plots) I do not look forward on patch day when they are released and not being able to get one because the server disconnects me twice when trying to log on.

I don't know what world you played ffxi on but on Fairy and then Sylph (played ffxi for over 7 years) Besieged was laggy and extremely craptastic. Not being able to even see the boss due to overcrowding and lag. Being killed by said bosses due to not even knowing they were near! not being able to even walk across the main room due to lag. Yeah those were the good old days lol

The servers are extremely congested as well as being attacked. Give it a month or two and all this will disappear.

It had problems yes, but it handled it better with 720 people even with a zone wide fight, (it did not crash or on the border line of crashing, mass D/c, etc) then the Ixion fate with 300. I do not see the excuse, so it feels like they are trying to cheap out on servers as much as possible. I may be wrong since I do not know what they do, but that is how it feels. Meanwhile we pay double our sub for inventory because of supposed server cost issues?
