    Job changes I would like to see.

    These are just some Ideas I had to make the jobs I play more fun for me!!

    Monk: Riddle of Earth removed and Riddle of Fire made into a trait that increases Fist of Fire from 5% to 10%. In place of Riddle of Earth have a trait called Form Mastery or Form Shift Mastery that allows Form Shift to continue your current level of Grease Lightning stacks but not give or add to them. Bootshine should give Chakra stacks 100% of the time when attacking from the rear. Tornado Kick put on a 60 second or 30 second cool down and remove "Removes Grease Lightning" from it.

    Dragoon: Remove animation lock from every ability. Jump no longer returns you to starting position but leaves you where you land. Spineshatter Dive reduced to 30 seconds and Stun removed. Dragon Fire Dive leaves an AoE DoT on the ground. Battle Litany lowered to 2 minute cool down. Mirage Dive removed. Instead have a Jump Mastery trait so when you Jump or Spineshatter Dive you get a stacking buff that increases your damage by 2% and your recast time by 1% to a max of 5 stacks as long as you keep Blood of the Dragon going. Geirskogul made 30 seconds or 20 seconds. Life of the Dragon should auto trigger when you have 5 stacks and will remain until you loose Blood of the Dragon. Nastornd made 30 seconds or 20 seconds.

    Ninja: Fine as is I think

    Sam: TP usage on it's AoE moves are a little high. I feel 120 for Fuga and 100 for Mangetsu and Oka would be better than 140 and 140.

    RDM: Fine as is I think. (Please only upgrade our spells when we go from lvl 70 - 80. New additional spells would ruin it's flow I think, and it already flows SOOOOOO good.)

    BLM: Maybe make Foul insta cast?

    SMN: Tear it down, remake it and separate it from SCH.

    BRD: Would rather have Reign of Death combo from Quick Noct since we only get Bloodletter procs from Mage's Ballad now. Would also like Quick Noct swapped out for Wide Volley since Bards are supposed to be at range...

    MCH: Remove the turrets and make the job more about the gun and the attachments to the gun.... other than that I don't play it that much.

    Tanks: I don't play them.

    Healers: I don't play them.

    Wish RDM had new animations on their Verspells at higher levels. The animations for Ver look about as thrilling as Fire I, Aero I, Stone I. I get that tradiitonally learned fewer tiers of spells than BLM and WHM, but they usually learned the -ara series, or in XIV would be the equivalent of Tier 2. So should upgrade to Verstone II, Verfire II, etc with bigger animations. They could have given tier 1's 250/280 potency at low levels, and upgrade to 270/300 potency at higher levels (to preserve relative strength at 70). Those RDM basic spells are boring as heck to look at. Jolt II on the other hand is GORGEOUS.

    my personal change would be: Bring back 3.5 MCH (minus rend mind, disable & promote as the job pool gives us that stuff) & throw 4.0 MCH out the airlock & into a black hole

    Honestly miss Heavensward MCH, cast bar & all, I mean I'll use Stormbloods cause I can't bring myself to not use a gun in FF14 but that doesn't mean I'm gona like this "New" MCH

    Buff sam's 720 potency to 800 potency (i always forget the moves name). then buff the 800 potency line aoe to 870 potency. :3 let me hit like a sam god

    Most of my concerns were answered with 4.05, but of the ones I'm farmilar with;

    Give SMN Sustain back and relieve some of the potency drop off from Bane.

    SCH's Selene needs a rework as she only comes out for like 3 bosses in the entire game solely for her AoE cleanse. Silent Dusk is hot garbage. Change it to a skill that guarantees my next Galvanize crits or into a DoT.

    AST is still very powerful for what it is.

    If MCH is supposed to be the alternative to BRD, it needs to have the same kind of support capabilities. The role skills aren't enough by themselves.


    Haven't touched other jobs since Stormblood to form a critique.

    I would like to see WHM getting at least something like buffs, even if they were small. Just some utility not only stupid aoe heal smashing. Fancier animation with holy light, water, wind, earth etc *glances to AST*

    For SMN, finally reworking the pets in some way so that they respond faster, prettier egi glamour (the old ones look like shite), moving the focus to other abilities, other than just Ruin III (and IV?). Reworking Ruin I and II animation...
    Playing SMN to 62 feels awful and having 15% proc on an ability that is made so nice in animation. I would've liked just an upgrade from Ruin III to Ruin IV. Reworking Devotion, being able to pick the target yourself, rather than moving your pet to the desired character. And again why lock Aetherflow to 1 min? Always having to prepare for the next fight feels dull, and less fun..

    Hmm, let's see....

    PLD: Fine for now. Would've loved to see more options for Oath Gauge usage though.

    WAR: Thought it was fine before 4.05, but feels pretty good now.

    DRK: Looks fine, but wouldn't mind it if Abyssal Drain had the self-heal as standard and Dark Arts increasing either the damage potency or how much healing is generated by it.

    AST: Feels pretty good after this patch. I'd actually be okay if Aspected Benefic/Helios in Nocturnal Sect took a bit of a hit though.

    SCH: If they won't nerf AST Nocturnal heals, then they need to increase the Galvanize effects of Adloquium and Succor. Maybe reduce the diminishing returns on Bane by increments of 10% rather than 20% too.

    WHM: Would like to see Lillies proc off of critical ticks from Regen and Medica II. You know, spells WHM players actually use.

    SAM: Looks fine, but if they reduced potencies on anything by a bit, I'd be okay with that.

    DRG: Increase the range of Dragon Sight to 30y, but increase the damage bonus based on proximity to the targeted party member with the maximum effect at 10y. Also kinda wanna see Power Surge brought back.

    MNK: Devs went on about removing useless skills, and yet somehow with MNK, they put even more focus on them. Would like to see Riddle of Earth changed to a basic "grants a full stack of Greased Lightning" and just grant all the fist buffs as passive traits. Also kinda want to see what the number crunchers have on just how much of a damage increase Riddle of Fire is too.

    NIN: Do love that it got simplified a bit, but the opener still feels like I'm trying to cram 80 things into a 10 second window. Double durations on holding Mudras for players with lag issues, which might alleviate clunkiness from Ten Chi Jin, which also needs a better name. Beyond that, it's still pretty good.

    BRD: Must we put proc chances on EVERYTHING? Maybe have Refulgent Arrow proc whenever Straight Shot critically strikes so it's a bit more reliable, and maybe drop Straight Shot's potency to like 100-120 to make sure Heavy Shot is still the baseline filler. Other than that, it's just fine.

    MCH: Increase the base Slug Shot proc chance to Clean Shot 100% only after a combo from Split Shot, and the Ammunition effect for Slug Shot would increase the Direct Hit chance of the next Clean Shot by 10%. Maybe increase Wildfire duration by two seconds or so to allow some wiggle room in that opener.

    BLM: Have Ley Lines move with the caster, because Murphy's Law states that the moment a BLM uses Ley Lines is immediately followed by the moment they have to run out of them. Also maybe a cooldown that temporarily allows casting while moving.

    SMN: Definitely lower the diminishing return on Bane from 20% to 10%. Also give the same Enhanced Aetherflow trait to SMN that SCH gets. Either bring back Sustain, put a trait in that changes Physick for SMN to Sustain or put in a passive trait that allows damage dealt to heal the pet for a portion of the damage. No matter how much devs reduce damage pets take, unless they're 100% immune to all damage from a boss, a pet heal will ALWAYS be a requirement no matter how little it might be used in endgame content.

    RDM: Just like SAM, pretty much fine, but understandable if they lower potencies a bit on some things.

    ^ this. Every job should stand out a bit. 4.0 BRD is ok, but I want my casting 3.5 MCH back, too!
