Its fine DPS wise, since 4.05 hit i've noticed there's no encounter where you can't do at least 4k even completely unbuffed. Mobility is actually pretty decent too.
People still flat out refuse to consider blm over rdm in raid setups, but nothing really going to change that. RDM is just straight out far better raid caster with embolden and infinite battle res. I don't know why SE did it this way, it doesn't really make any sense to me.

Rdm just doesn't feel fun to me and I'll happily be sticking with my black magics
