Could you imaging Dynamis, Einherjar, Salvage or Nyzul Isle with NO time limit? XI would have been horrid. At first I thought these time limits were absurd as well..until I played the content a few times and realized they werent that bad once you took the time to learn the content and how to play your jobs within these zones.

The time limits they give us are perfectly reasonable and we can re-enter in minutes. No waiting until jp midnight or 72 hrs. Minutes!

Take toto-rak as the op pointed out. You can finish toto-rak with 100% kill completion and get all the chests in 20 mins solo at 50 easy (you have your extra body to enter just hang out), leaving 40 extra minutes. Really there is reason to kill the first two bosses for anything but the achievments. I have farmed every item in this zone for myself and a few members of my ls. Plus I have run countless ppl thru who needed the win and have never noticed a difference in the drops of the bosses. Its what you do in the maze that counts. As a low lvl (25-ish) pt you can also complete toto-rak at 100% in well under an hr, you just cannot get all the chests as there is 1 that is given by a timed completion. This could even still be done if your savvy enough, especially since you only need to kill a small percentage of the mobs to get the kill% chest. DH is the same. There is more than enough time to run thru, complete the entire zone and be done before the timer runs out.

You dont need to be extraordinary, you can be complete normal and casual players and get these zones done with time to spare. You may need to run thru a few times to learn the lay of the land but everyone needs to do that really. And you even get the treat of reading the strats those of us who spend hrs finding the tricks and techniques that work in these zones, post on various sites. Causing you to spend even less time figuring out these areas. If you want to spend more time in these zones fighting or exploring you have plenty of time. But you will have to enter more than once.
