"FFXIV Launcher Error" when trying to log in for the 4.05 update!

As the title says, i'm having trouble once again trying to update my game to 4.05! Every time i turn on my launcher, and then log in, i get the white box "FFXIV Launcher Error" over and over... Has anyone found a fix for this yet, or should i wait this out after 3:00 A.M. PDT?! I haven't had this issue since 3.X, but now it's back again and i'm super frustrated at SE for this.

Fixed it for me. I tried switching to google DNS, and it didn't work. So I tried SAFEDNS and it worked. Thanks guys!

I switched to SAFEDNS after it wasn't even patching correctly. That solved that now it is giving me the launcher error. Ugh.

Same for me. I'd tried default and google DNS, with no luck. Changing to the SAFEDNS numbers fixed the problem. Get them from here: https://www.lifewire.com/free-and-pu...ervers-2626062

Yeah! It worked for me.

I change the dns for google, i reconnect my net and then open the launcher again and began to update , then on the checking files throw me error, so, i disconnect from my net again, and i change the dns to default settings, and wallah it's done the game is updating as normal!
