Unable to Update Patch Files Error

I am at my wits end with this error.

1) Yes I have changed my FFXIV_BOOT.cfg from 0 to 1
2) Yes I have tried using a different DNS
3) Yes I have deleted previous patch files in the downloads/ffxivpatch folder

The client starts to download and then ends on the error:

Unable to update patch files.
[11006][20815][20866][19900][32]
C:/Program Files (x86)/SquareEnix/FINAL FANTASY XIV - A Realm Reborn/game/ffxiv.exe

At this point I'm just short of having to delete the whole game and spend hours reinstalling the damn thing

Uninstalling/reinstalling may not work. It still fails for me.

Yeah uninstall and reinstall isn't likely to help. Try using the free version of cyberghost or another VPN. WTFast and Vyper VPN have a free trial, and these have helped a crap ton of players on PC, at least, including myself. If you try the VPN route and it doesn't work, try using a different server on the VPN.
