Not necessarily. Actually, in a ST fight like v1 or v2 it's probably better to activate it around 70 seconds like in 4.0 to benefit from b4b. In other instances it really depends on adds phases. Now we can pretty much decide exactly when we want to activate lotd without having to sacrifice eyes. This is good.
Funny thing is, they probably made drg more complex because eyes/geirskogul management is much less straightforward now.
i tried to look for some replays on fflog after the 4.1 changes, and i did found that the top dps drgs are still doing it like u said, around 70s like in 4.0, though i was looking at specifically v4s, inbetween boss jumping away and changing location and stuff, it seems activating LOTD right after 2nd jump is not such a good ideaNot necessarily. Yes. Especially in Shinryu ex, activating lotd right after the second jump is a terrible idea. But the same is true for a lot of other fights. In V1 and V2 you don't want to do it as well. Not sure about V3 and V4, gotta experiment a little there.i tried to look for some replays on fflog after the 4.1 changes, and i did found that the top dps drgs are still doing it like u said, around 70s like in 4.0, though i was looking at specifically v4s, inbetween boss jumping away and changing location and stuff, it seems activating LOTD right after 2nd jump is not such a good idea
Terrible idea because it makes bfb come up at an awkward time?
