So after reading some BiS threads I saw that the last allagan gloves may take over the genji due to the SS to keep the rotation intact and not feel sluggish. Still on the fence of swapping the lost allagan pants for the genji for the SS too since a GCD of 2.48 seems so slow

The difference is very small to be honest. You can get the desidered amount of sks with several combinations of gear, but I'd advise against the genji pants. Ideally you want to have just the "right" amount of sks to reach the desired gcd because any sks point after that it's wasted secondary stats. So first choose where you want your gcd to be (I'm going for a 2.44 gcd for instance). You can find 4 different BiS at page 11 of this document. I'm personally working to complete this set since I dropped the elm and I want to save my tomestones for other jobs. It is very similar to the 2.44 gcd BiS you can find on the doc.
