    At-level FATES in the new zones sometimes spawn on my mining points MID GATHER so I don't have a chance to put my Stealth on. It'd be comical if it wasn't like a near instant KO since gathering gear has no vitality.

    If I'm not mistaken they've asked us to report such incidents - along with "Hey, there are mobs very close to a node!" - so they can look into and possibly change it.
    Either way: FATEs arent on the map forever, most of them last for 15 minutes max, normally you're even able to solo them - and I cant recall a point where a FATE hindered my story/quest progression. Doesnt mean that there absolutly was non, but if it happend, it obviously didnt happen enough in 4 years to leave a real impression.

    Also... what does that has to do with their "ego"? How is placing FATEs at certain quest-spots related to someones ego at all?
