    I can only believe that SE tried their best to handle such problems. It's meant to make the experience smooth for everyone in one way or another, and the instance code they used works. In one way or another, it might have possibly prevented a possible server crash which, when it does happen, everyone can't get into The Lochs and everyone can't finish Stormblood or get Ixion! The code might not be perfect, but it works, and there is no dire need to fix it. I'm sure SE doesn't want to risk it for our sake. SE wants us to eat it up and live with it; it's not like not being able to Ixion is the end of the world.

    This answer is unacceptable.

    If the "specifics of the programming" dictate it, then "the programming" would appear as a likely candidate for being the problem.

    You rewrote an entire game to do the right thing. Why wouldn't you, now, admit an error and fix it, rather than continue to vex--even if is in a temporary fashion--your player base?

    As a last resource, you could admit that you painted yourself into a corner by mistake, rather than trying to present the issue as a necessity of design.

    You created an extraordinary expansion. You are consequently allowed some minor mistakes. Just admit them.

    All you need to add is a simple / command. /pick <instance> and it moves you to that instance of the zone you are in. If Everquest 1 can do it with their ancient tech then you really shouldn't have an issue with that. This keeps us from having to cross zones constantly to swap
