You're right, business is not an honest thing, it makes people spend money on something they will not be able to use later...Regardless it's in their right to ask for more money based on current market conditions instead of one that is 2 years old.
Not disagreeing that a lower cost might be better for you guys but expecting it to be the same as it was is unrealistic SE is a business first and foremost.
Then let them make a fee of 100$ per month because "a business first and foremost"Regardless it's in their right to ask for more money based on current market conditions instead of one that is 2 years old.

Do you agree to pay 100$?
Players from Ukraine, for example (I really doubt that salaries there are bigger than Russian ones) were paying the standard cost from the start. The fact is that salaries in russia are now at the level of 2014, with the dollar rising from 30 rub to $ 57-60rub per $ 1 (1 euro 65-70rub). We did not pay less.
What does the regional subscription take? The level of incomes of citizens in the region, but neither as a currency exchange rate
I agree that making such price changes without notification is a bad move, and doing this after SB release is even worse, and not fair at all.
But still.

Ukraine is Europe? #trollfacePlayers from Ukraine, for example (I really doubt that salaries there are bigger than Russian ones) were paying the standard cost from the start.

To be serious, the question is not the price itself, the question is they've done it in shadows without a word.
At the minute, players from Ukraine could use the Russian Steam and get a Russian regional subscription, now Ukraine does not have thisPlayers from Ukraine, for example (I really doubt that salaries there are bigger than Russian ones) were paying the standard cost from the start.

I'm pretty sure Steam will ban you for trying to play "oh, I'm suddently in another region" card. We could use Mogstation to buy optional items for cheap though (through Russian friends), but, in all honesty, people from all across the globe could do the same.
Which is, I think, another reason for a price change (from Square point of view).
What I'm trying to say is that people from many countries which aren't US or UK and have pretty much the same salary as Russia or Brazil were paying 15$ from the start. (And yes, I agree that changing price without warning is unfair.) Not that I'm on the "let everyone pay the same big amount of $$$" side of the barricade. I'd prefer that Ukraine and other countries were paying less too, and prices weren't calculated so roughly.
If you do not know, but the average salary in Russia is 500-700 dollars and in Europe is 1500-2000. Where is the same income? "The price increase for Russian and Brazilian gamers: I actually already know the cause of this as I know a russian who's playing the game in another discord. It's because in the countries where the price increase happened SE can no longer take money directly from those countries without heavy fees so they have to work through third party money transfers.
Brazil for a while shut down all money transfers out of the country last year for all but the biggest of companies from what I saw in the news... and it looks like Brazil is now deciding to tax the big companies for doing so." Apparently this is the reason for it.

Final Subsctiption 14.
That means its last month playing for me.
