Wanna hear something about this too from SE...
All this situation is just killing me. How could this be real? No notifications, no arguments, all we got is just "Yep we decided to do this, here's the new price'.
You know the most ironic thing currently?
There is an official lodestone notice about the change of price for carbonized matter in-game.
Apparently gil price change is much more important than the real one. :/
So... what can we do with this information ? Get in touch with the support and to say that they broke their own guidelines ?One question? Do you understand that this is practically a break of FFIV User Agreement from your side, and big fraud with selling expansion. In FFIV User Agreement you can see pargraph 4.1 that says FINAL FANTASY XIV Subscription Fee rates will be posted at http://sqex.to/ffxivfees_eu, and any changes to those rates will be posted with 30 days’ advance notice and notice will be provided to the Game community and by email to User’s registered email addresses. If you think that exchange steam rates it's another deal...sorry but no. Valve assumes no responsibility or liability for such third party content that's written in paragraph 5 Steam subscriber agreement
Wow.One question? Do you understand that this is practically a break of FFIV User Agreement from your side, and big fraud with selling expansion. In FFIV User Agreement you can see pargraph 4.1 that says FINAL FANTASY XIV Subscription Fee rates will be posted at http://sqex.to/ffxivfees_eu, and any changes to those rates will be posted with 30 days’ advance notice and notice will be provided to the Game community and by email to User’s registered email addresses. If you think that exchange steam rates it's another deal...sorry but no. Valve assumes no responsibility or liability for such third party content that's written in paragraph 5 Steam subscriber agreement http://store.steampowered.com/subscr...ent/english/#5 And if you want change exhange rate in steam you need posted 30 days advance notice. What you can say about this?
SE, got an answer for yourselves?
I paid for Stormblood only because subscription price was acceptable.
But now I can't play Stormblood because price of subscription 3x bigger now.
I feel my self like someone steal my money T_T

This is why I refuse to do any sort of business with Steam. I deal with SE direct, not a third party site like Steam. Steam is, at best, a platform for large gaming companies to screw their consumer base because - let's face it - people don't care about "gamers" because no one takes them seriously (after all, it's just a "game").

hmm looking at the british one It looks like its gone down. Entry at shortest amount. use to be £8 and now its £7 and the 90 day one is £25 where im sure its was higher by about £10. Not sure without going through my old receipts.... which i really don't feel like doing sorry.
Edit: Ok my friend isn't a lazy bastard who just checked his last few invoices. Uk steam prices have not changed
Might be a localisation tax issue more the square if its hitting certain places.

This is so disappointing, just now that I was almost getting my friend to the game the game itself turned impossible to we keep the subscription monthly, its totally out of our reality
I see no reason to play further in this game for such money, for the same amount I can buy a few games every month. But most importantly, in my eyes, the reputation of this company fell below 0.
