Don't forget to mention that we can't participate in some game contests, because they are exclusive to NA. :v
There's only 4 different localisations for the game and many, many countries that are paying the same sub fee without getting one. Or do you think the whole Europe speaks English, German or French?

There's like... plenty of other countries which would likely have to ask for the same thing. But yeah, Brazil and Russia > All because why not, huh?
The only real issue in this subject is the lack of info before the increase. Arguing and bringing cost of living helps no-one, because every country has its own economic hurdles, and using the "minimum wage" argument only makes it worse, because if anyone really is playing this game on minimum wage, anyone can easily say "Not playing an subscription-based MMO should be the least of your concerns".
Victimizing yourself about your economy really isn't helping your plea and it's obvious it lands on deaf ears, "Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes". Additionally, it doesn't help when you're asking for exceptions based on circumstances that are not in SE's realm of control or asking for a gargantuan decision to add infrastructure to regions where the player base likely doesn't justify the investment because "we're all paying the same amount".
I'm not in the US. I'm one of the many people that just like you, doesn't have support or anything you ask for and I still play the game, pay the current price based on the forex rate and i don't know if Brazil or Russia had local promo events. But my country did
And like your country, I don't have anything you asked for in Spanish, go fig huh? But I digress.

The only questions needing answers are: Is this permanent? If not, when will it be fixed? Anything outside of this, opinions included, is irrelevant.

Most likely, the currency of your country is even more unstable than in Russia and Brazil. Therefore, on Steam you do not have regional prices. But everyone is waiting for comments from SE about the current situation, after which the players decide what to do next.
Probably because SE deemed your country as not having a large enough potential market for them to want to create a special price. There are countries that have the same level of income that don't have these lower prices. I live in one, and our level of income is the same as Brasil, yet we always had to pay the same as everyone else. This change brings everyone to the same level. Why would they be able to pay less than me, when we're in the same boat? Buy 2 less pizzas a month and you can afford the sub.
Your final sentence shows zero understanding of the issue.
Low price in regions is not some sort of charity. It's companies looking at the markets and saying "We can have hundreds of subscribers for this high price or thousands for this low price. What do we choose?" And the numbers do depend on average income. I'm sure SE have legal right to triple the cost without warning, it's just bad manners to do so. Especially just after people have bought the expansion they cannot now afford.

With all respect to SE, we deserved leastways a warning, notification or, at least, few words about this situation. Just because suddenly triple increasing prices after more then 2 years and right after Stormblood update - it's unfair and uneceptable. It's raises questions about the attitude towards clients. More high price for familiar product is always sad story, but this pill can became a little sweeter if only SE would give us a normal announcement: "Ok, guys, this is your new reality in Eorzea. Sad but true". But not like this, just not.
I'm still waiting for some official reaction from SE.
Okay, once again:
Equal subscription price is fair. Not having any notification before stormblood release about rasing the price is not fair.
A lot of ppl bought new expansion and now it's just thrown out money, because they can't play FFXIV anymore.

Prices are fair. Changing it without any prior notification is poor communication. Setting the price to be relative to your income is rubbish. Talk to me about price fairness when you have to pay the same amount I have to pay for my daily necessities.
And this is a Steam issue, not a SE issue. Go ask Steam for the reason. If you ask SE, they will still have to ask Steam and then relay the message anyway.
