Steam payment HUGE price increase!

Came over here from the petition thread, just did some quick reading and it's fairly disturbing to find out that SE strikes again on steam unannounced just like for NieR: Automata. Folks in China got hit by a rough 200% increase in regional pricing along with other bad PR moves like releasing DLC before patching out bugs. Of course its worst over here for us due to the subscription nature. I really, really love XIV but SE has been pushing it quite a bit in the recent years...

Either way, I've shown my support in the petition thread, here's hoping our friends affected by this absurd change can get the right treatment they deserve!

I will just be ignoring posts not related to the thread subject for now, people come here to try change the subjetc and flamme the thread so moderators can claim to lock the topic, the truth is that the situation remains, we still want a way to talk with the company and we still want more information and transparency from the company, I mean...we all here just want to clarify and resolve this situation.

I can certainly understand why people have an inherently defensive reaction to this topic. On all sides in a topic this big, people with a different view can make you want to change their perspective, so that you can feel understood. Especially when this affects you directly in some manner, that empathy is more valuable to try to raise from people who may not see things your way. However, all of the points of view on this topic have been fully fleshed out, and that defensiveness has become attacks and trolling, which is undermining the integrity of this discussion. Because new topics are not being raised and the same discussions are turning into arguments for the sake of argument, I am closing this thread.
