"Request Meld" needs a Remeld button on failure.

When you are melding items for yourself, you get a pop-up on failure that asks if you want to try melding the same materia into that slot. This has made getting penta-melded gear a LOT less frustrating, as repeated menu navigation isn't ideal for something that might be a 5% success chance.

So, why do we still have to go through all the menus for "Request Meld?" Please add a remeld pop-up for this.

This would be good & to add to it, the option to select quantity e.g. I'm fine with attempting this meld 99 times.....it plays the animation once but in the background it tries to meld it up to 99 times. If it succeeded on e.g. meld 18, it'll return 81 materia back.

Yeah that would also be a good feature for both ends of this, but at the very least my request should be very basic to implement since it's already in the game in some form.

While the retry meld window is up, you are unable to move. SE would have to address that before adding retry request, otherwise this could be a troll 10x worse than teleport trade.

I have a guild friend who melds me all the time and nothing makes me feel worse than asking to get overmelds for my gathering class. I don't mind providing the materia or the 5-10% chance near the end, but what I do feel bad about is how much time of ours I'm taking up. It's gotten to the point where I'm better off buying the piece of gear I need overmelded and trading it to them and having them meld it multiple times with a single click.
