why would they auto give us it when earning level 50 and earning x crafts/gathers are different achievment
We actually get Lv50 by doing crafts/gathers.
We didn't get Lv50 by doing quest only )


also add in how many people used tons of leves to go up in ranks(which elimates TONS of gathers and synths required at ranges)
We used Leve because SE told us to level up using leves. Yoshi-P changed it a few weeks ago? Does this give him the right to eliminate all our works because he changed his mind? That's would be very high level of "customer care"



no one except those who were actively overdoing everything all this time even after 50 may have even been close to earning it
and somehow i bet they dont care cuz they are redoing it

while those are valid points, you do end up with a ton of people(me for instance) who wouldnt have earned certain ones who would get freebies to satisfy those who feel entitled to get them

thing is, no ones entitled to them without redoing them now, i can almost guarentee you 0% of the population earned ANY of these unless they were one of the earliest 50s in the game

after the exp patches, everything changed and you woulda gone beyond the ammount needed for each purely cuz of how much extra exp you woulda gotten

and for gatherers, again, they wouldnt even be close to getting the tool(even moreso for those who went to coerthas)



this isnt about wether or not they care about us
they warned us about this MONTHS ago, did anyone whine or listen then? no

hell i was even ready to go back and do my kills again(which im glad i dont have to, but i was willing to)



in the end though, notice how war/magic users didnt get any special golden items, all they got was a crown and a few titles

we get cool golden tools(which may suck, but they are still cool looking)

and the fact that itl be rare to earn it now, will make it mean that much more when we do get them


also those who are 50 now, who only got 50 to get 50 and dont touch these things again, they will cry the loudest cuz they really dont wanna redo ANYTHING, those people DO NOT deserve these items of course

and thats what these achievments will do, seperate those of us who want them cuz we are true gather and crafters
from those who us who didnt wanna do them to begin with

To counter your argument, jobs (extension of classes) ARE getting unique armor and weapons in 1.21. Where are the unique armor sets for crafters and gatherers? I know I want something special for my fisherman, like a big yellow coat like the Gorton man or something.

and to counter that, those job armors, have NOTHING to do with the achievment system
so that is a discussion for another time obviously

for our items for craftiong and gathering, it requires us to just do our job, alot

for combat classes, they are going to have to go quest or do something else to earn it which will be alot harder i bet
