Um, these accomplishments already exist. The crafting and gathering ones are extras. And they aren't forcing you. Why does no one get this? It is optional. If you are a true avid accomplishment hunter you will go back and re-do all the work because you really want it. If you can't be bothered, then why complain?

Because all the other accomplishments were things that were already being calculated and recorded on your lodestone history page. Things like materia conversions/melds was also stored as when they were introduced, there were already plans for the new achievement system. It is just synthesis and gathering that there was no data for, and therefore nothing to base pre-filled accomplishments for
