How come many other achievements have been automatically awarded when unlocked (think # of mobs killed)?

Are you sure it's not because you leveled your crafting classes mostly through leves (especially levels 0-20) and that you did not actually perform the required amount of "true" (assuming that leve synth don't count as an achivement) synths?
