Man this feels like Bard 3.X all over again. SMNs you have my sympathies.

SMN is my main DPS class. The lack of major changes sucks, but it's honestly no different from how we were at launch. I'm still going to play SMN; I'm still going to manage good output.
In 4.1, though, I would like to see RDM brought back down to earth. In the long-term, Devotion isn't enough utility to offer over a caster class with insta-raise/cure/embolden/awesome DPS.
I guess we didn't get our point across. SMN main since 2.0 ofc I was waiting til today to see if anything was going to change. Fixes for all except SMN. If a company doesn't care about what a portion of its paying clients say, then to me, they are exclusionary, narrow minded and arrogant. Unsubbed with malice. I'll be damned if I'm waiting til 5.0 only to find the only change is the ability to scale the size amd position of Bahumut.

Not only did they ignore all of the PVE issues, but they nerfed them in PVP as well.
Honestly, I really do think the devs hate summoner.

Boggles the mind why they couldn't give back Sustain.
All they had to do was simply add the spell back, no big change or huge coding or anything.
If they needed time to fix anything else, alright...
but why they no give pet heal back!?
I just don't understand? Pet can't live, SE. Help them!
I would even suggest to replace Phsyick with it.
I just feel bad since I know how it feels to have a job on hold for so long.
(Bard for me. 2.0 Bard just sucked and it took 2 expansions to get it right. ): )
Hang in there guys!
Oh and fix Chicken Nugget aka Titan Egi.

I can see it now: "5.0 SMN Buffs! Please look forward to it!"

I never liked FFXIV incarnation of SMN, maybe the time for a deep rework has come??
