Balance was balanced

To be fair, for those of us who played on controller, it wasn't easy to just right-click the status effects of Spreads, RRs, and Draws off, so we had to use macros. The three skills isn't anything different from what we used before. That being said, I do like the gauge because it makes my Arcana more visible, something I can appreciate.

There is a little difference, you could click off buffs/use the macros while you were casting, with the new abilities this isn't possible.
