    I love the gauge. Once I got used to it, it made it much easier to see my cards and tbh it's very pretty to look at. but the easiest solution would have been to just give us the buff icons WITH the gauge. that would solve all of the problems the gauge currently subjects us to.

    You'd think, at the worst, that one could simply... right-click / cycle through their gauge's graphics for Draw, Spread, and Royal Road...

    Then we'd only have the problem of being unable to see our co-healers Cards... or any other effect in the game since subsumed by job gauges.

    They nerfed Balance, yes, but they gave us a better Spear. I call that a win...

    i love this change

    I am no longer on "Must draw balance" meme, with the nerf of balance, it is still useful and powerful, and spear finally got some good use

    now I have Spear, Arrow and Balance could be use, we are now less affected by RNG in a certain way

    and they have not touch my healing potency which is great

    The changes make me really happy. Now I feel as though every card has a purpose and Balance isn't so strong that I feel like I HAVE to discard my current card to fish for it.

    I'm bracing myself for a few individuals to come in here and start screaming though.

    Thank god they nerfed Balance. Now ASTs can stop drowning in the salt of the other healers and all the misdirected hate all over that one card.

    My fiancee (who plays PLD) woke me up this morning by shoving her phone in my face, saying "Patch notes, RIP AST" (because she saw potency decreases)...

    But I love these changes.

    First of all, the spear no longer being boiling garbage is a fantastic change. I'll now actually be GLAD to draw one.

    Second, the addition of the ability to dump our Spread and RR slots is a GODSEND because it gives us even MORE control over our RNG, especially when using Sleeve Draw.

    I like the changes overall. Now instead of two "good" cards and four crap ones, we have three cards we can absolutely look forward to drawing.

    And they did this the RIGHT way by not nerfing healing potencies at all. So yeah, I'm FINE with these changes. This is more of a buff, IMO, because we'll no longer be fishing for a balance forever.

    Spear is probably a better card to RR on the whole party with because the 10% damage increase did nothing for healers where as all classes benefit from crit chance.

    Now it will take at least a few days for people to calculate optimal benefits of Balance vs Arrow vs Spear to find out which card is most meta.
