A possible fix for MULTIPLE Glams on one item..

Just a thought I had.. but I was wondering if this would fix the multiple glams on one piece of gear issue:

When you acquire any gear in the game, say a healer chest, you take it to a specific npc, and then have said npc make a copy of the chest piece. You now 2 of the same items, and can now glam your healers into different looks!

If I'm understanding this right, as things currently are, this wouldn't work for pieces of gear that are unique (you can only have one copy in your inventory), which would make it only really useful for crafted gear you could already get multiple copies of anyway. It would also severely exacerbate the inventory bloat issue.

That's why it's glam. You do it at the risk of your inventory.

I'd rather they just do what the other games are doing to handle it instead of forcing us to clog our inventory further.

i like the idea of it but i think it will create too much stress for the server
i want glam WHM/SCH/AST in their own job specific gear...

That is what she means, having 3 of the same outfit to glamour into their own set. Which for just 3 healers would be 15 armor pieces (3 head, 3 arm, etc... not counting accessories) in the inventory/storage.

Oh I like this thought! Also, we are getting more inventory slots in the next phase.
