I posted in the Website Feedback forum, but it doesn't seem to have garnered any notice there, and I'm really hoping to get some kind of feedback on this issue, so I'm posting again here so that, maybe, it will be seen by someone who can do something about it (or at least say that they can't).
While the community event (And...Action!) was already underway, Photobucket implemented a change to their business model that requires a $400 annual subscription for third-party hosting of images. Anyone who posted an entry using Photobucket had their entry wiped out and replaced with an error prompt directing them to the page that details the subscription requirement.
I'm sure everyone else stuck in this predicament feels the same as I do. I worked really hard on my entry. I spent hours, and I submitted it feeling confident that I had made something worthy of the contest. Now it seems that it won't even be counted because of an image hosting issue implemented during the contest. Can I get some sort of GM feedback on this?
