    Level 65 fishing quest question...

    Is there a minimum perception for catching HQ sprags? I've been at this for awhile and still haven't gotten one :x Not sure if it's my gear or just a luck thing. I'm a new fisher so I have a mix of NQ Stormblood gear and NQ level 60 basics, no ironworks or anything

    The base SB gear got me through all of the FSH quests.

    How much GP do you have?

    If I remember right I caught mine using Patience.

    They did take a good bit, though.

    Took me a while too. Probably lvl 68 before I returned to this quest. Eventually got them all pretty quickly from the shore nearest kobyashi maru. Using patience and pulling up with powerful hook.

    I was able to get them all in about 4 minutes. I have fully melded Ironworks, but I fished at the pond inside the rock, with Live Shrimp, using Patience 2. Other bits of poking around the internet would seem to suggest that this particular spot is better than others. But this could just be conjecture too.

    I ended up being able to catch it using patience 2 with live shrimp; just a bit of a pain :-) Thanks
