(PC)Need help turning on Pet Hotbar again.

Now that completed the chocobo companion quest, I want to have my Pet Hotbar back. I want my pet hotbar to appear when my chocobo is out, but disappear when I withdraw him. I have looked in the Hotbar settings, but none of the pet hotbar settings seem to do anything.

The chocobo isn't a pet, and you can't give it commands in the way you probably think. That's why it doesn't activate the Pet Hotbar. You simply call your chocobo with some Gysahl Greens, tell it which stance to use (tank/heal/attack) and the chocobo's AI will take care of the rest.

Thanks a bunch. One final question; if I set it to, say, healer stance, will it remember that command and be in healer stance when I resummon him?

I think it remembers the stance until you close the game, but I'm now 100% sure.

Thanks again. Will test this myself. Have a good day, fellow Warrior.
