In the live letter yoshi-p said he will be looking into and reamping the glamour system, and that something like a glamour log is POSSIBLE but they need to run tests and check the stability of it all.
In short its been addressed, now all we need is to be patient and keep our fingers crossed

I'm fairly sure he got asked somewhere before EA was launched, and he indeed said that it would crash the server if they added a "glamour log"

So unless we get upgraded servers this will most likely never happen...so yeah, make your peace and move on I guess!

The servers did get upgraded recently...
There is no way they can keep this item flood up and expect it to work out in any way or shape, especially if more and more rewards/motivation to do content are glamour based.

Apparently, he readdressed this and said they are looking into a system where you could only access it in certain areas. It makes me wonder if they're looking at something where you say, click on a Wardrobe either in an inn room or your house and can open up glamours. Theoretically, that would relieve server stress since you'd be opening the Wardrobe in an instanced area.

I would be happy about more space to store my glamours items too.
But I guess SE hamsters aren't as strong as SEGA hamsters.

No, all he said was that they were looking into a "glamour history" with no elaboration. I will have absolutely zero faith that they're actually addressing anything until we get a concrete response.

ffxiv has had a lot of unnecessary gameplay since i played.

one of them just so happens to be its glamour system, which requires the player to be at least a level 50 crafter and the glamours themselves require to be built. additional items are required to unlock, including tomes, empty glamour prisms, and glamour dispellers just in case a player is not satisfied. they are also divided into 5 different categories and then sub-categorized into other glamour levels, but before the glamour can be applied, the player must have the gear they want within their inventory. however, if the player augments certain gear, the glamour will reset and another must be applied.

you can probably see where im going with this. if the game cannot handle a wardrobe system or if its too difficult to work around, it's the original design at fault. so long as this anticipated new system replaces the old one or simplifies it, im sure nothing will go wrong.
