"It's too hard" "Our servers aren't good enough" etc etc
Same response we'll be getting for the next few years most likely.
Wildstar too.

In the live letter yoshi-p said he will be looking into and reamping the glamour system, and that something like a glamour log is POSSIBLE but they need to run tests and check the stability of it all.
In short its been addressed, now all we need is to be patient and keep our fingers crossed
No, all he said was that they were looking into a "glamour history" with no elaboration. I will have absolutely zero faith that they're actually addressing anything until we get a concrete response. In the live letter yoshi-p said he will be looking into and reamping the glamour system, and that something like a glamour log is POSSIBLE but they need to run tests and check the stability of it all.

I'm fairly sure he got asked somewhere before EA was launched, and he indeed said that it would crash the server if they added a "glamour log"
So unless we get upgraded servers this will most likely never happen...so yeah, make your peace and move on I guess!
The servers did get upgraded recently...
There is no way they can keep this item flood up and expect it to work out in any way or shape, especially if more and more rewards/motivation to do content are glamour based.
Apparently, he readdressed this and said they are looking into a system where you could only access it in certain areas. It makes me wonder if they're looking at something where you say, click on a Wardrobe either in an inn room or your house and can open up glamours. Theoretically, that would relieve server stress since you'd be opening the Wardrobe in an instanced area.
Could be "okay" as long as we save our glamor into some sort of internal wardrobe...but still, for a "supposedly" AAA mmorpg it feels very poor in polish and this is just one of them many things being off.Apparently, he readdressed this and said they are looking into a system where you could only access it in certain areas. Beside the wardrobe, look at the incredible amount of invisible walls we have in the world, in a p2p game...while Guild Wars 2 is a b2p game with not only some massive areas, but also massive "freedom" where to run too and walk and that game also has macro areas like FFXIV.
Sure it's a totally different topic, but little oddities such as these can only stack up so much, and being told that a AAA MMORPG "can't" have a wardrobe because of instability, it makes very hard to keep supporting a game.
....especially when f2p games have done it already and they have a tenth of the budget

Crash server wouldn't surprise me seeing how it crashes already when there's too many player on a map... their structuration looks like sh** and they probably should rework it all to ensure a bright future for this game, including a glamour log.
