PLD maintain the same if not higher dps, has all of these game changers and clemency on top of that with 2.5 sec recast, healing for around 20% hp of your own and half hp of anyone not tanky in the team.
It does not cost you DPS to use the MP on TBN. If the shield breaks, you get blood. That's a free bloodspiller. You're trading a dark arts for a bloodspiller.

Clemency is literally a DPS loss because the MP cost decreases requiescat damage and reduces how many holy spirits you can cast AND is on the GCD.

I can see it now why they have change the delirium cooldown, so it will encourage to use both abilities more often. It will make MP easier to manage thats for sure, well i believe its still better than nothing. xD

Clemency and TBN shouldn't be compared. TBN and sheltron should be. Sheltron comes with dps for procs, TBN is a break even.

I was comparing them because the person I was quoting was comparing them.

That’s fine, I’m just trying to put the real reason people should be upset by tbn somewhere lol.

Let's not forget that Grit is a worse Shield Oath...

Shield Oath give a 15% damage dealt penalty for 20% damage reduction on damage you take and increased aggro generation whereas Grit is 20% damage dealt penalty for the same thing but does nothing else but hinder you because you are spending too much of 1 resource to try and get a DPS gain but you are only shooting yourself in the foot because Grit restrictions for effects and potencies...

If Grit had Bloodbath effect built into it then it would justify damage dealt penalty as well as removing Grit restrictions on certain effects and potencies, WARs Defiance justifies having a 20% damage dealt penalty by giving you 25% more HP and increased healing when someone use a healing spell on you AND has a skill that nullifies it for 20 seconds

(But you might as well remove that penalty anyway since you would be getting more mileage out of it because you would get more damage dealt and more aggro generation at the same time)

Shield oath is 15% because at 20% it made them deal way too little damage in comparison. DRK still has use of darkside in Grit, a PLD cannot use Sword oath while in shield oath. In fact I'm fairly sure if both tanks sat in tank stance all day with current numbers DRK would still deal more damage because they don't lose access to Darkside and they have am ability that ignores their tank stance penalty whereas PLD does not.
